In the media world all we hear is how loaded LSU is but the real question is will Les Miles become Les Miserable? The media and fan pressure is on and national expectations are high. With the controversy that seems to plague LSU you would think Les Miles would be smarter than to say what he did about Alabama. Do you think his statements will affect the game?

Great question, Stoney. I can't imagine LSU being as good as they're expected to be. Flynn will be good enough replacing Russell, but look at all the other guys they've lost. Two standout wide receivers in Bowe and Davis, not to mention an irreplaceable guy like LaRon Landry on defense. I personally just can't see them being a Top 5 team given all the talent and leadership they've lost to the NFL.

I'd have to think so, Goth. KC's pretty thin at wideout and Bowe's a talent. I'd be surprised if he's not a Week 1 starter.

Movie quote "Sauce for the Goose Mr.Savick" Saban will have his revenge after what Miles said about Alabama. Nick is a master tactician and LSU will be an unprove commidity. My guess is this will be the measuring stick for the season for both teams a loss is simply unacceptable. Emotions will run high but Alabama has that something to prove chip on thier shoulder. I look for a 28-17 ballgame that gets plum ugly in the fourth quarter.

Well, don't get me wrong. I'd still predict them over Bama (sorry Stoney). I just think Florida's the team to beat in the SEC.
