BATON ROUGE -- LSU has been tabbed as the favorite to win the Southeastern Conference football title in 2007, according to the Birmingham News, which recently published its 61st-annual conference preview.

So let me get this straight... the Birmingham, Alabama daily newspaper picked LSU to win the SEC? Any sense of betrayal among the Bama fans?

no need to feel betrayed. Bama is currently ranked 69th in most pre season polls. playing Vanderbilt and Arkasas back to back will set the tone for the rest of the season. Alabama will have to earn any respect that they may get.
