Post Lady Tigers - Super Regionals

TEMPE, ARIZ. -- Louisiana State pitcher Emily Turner and Arizona State second baseman Mindy Cowles were on the same page.
In the last encounter, Cowles won out.
Cowles had been crossed up all game by the LSU pitcher's change-up. But when she stepped into the box against Tuner in the bottom of the 10th, she knew what to expect.
"I knew it was coming," Cowles said. "She had me fooled the whole game. I was expecting it that last at-bat."
Turner knew it, too.
"We had her all day on that, and unfortunately that time we didn't," Turner said. "I was confident throwing that change-up to her. It was kind of almost like she knew it was coming. Give credit to Mindy Cowles. It was a timely hit, and that's what she needed."

Tough opening round loss for the LSU softball team. Think they can rebound?

Re: Early deficit key to Tigers? softball demise

I guess not. Arizona State beats LSU, 7-4, and they (not the Lady Tigers) are headed for the College World Series.
