Tigers seek to prove themselves in SEC
ATHENS, Ga. — Somewhere in this upside-down SEC basketball season, almost every team has gone through some form of role reversal.

Two teams playing prominent roles in the unfolding drama square off at 2 p.m. CST today when LSU and Georgia meet at Stegeman Coliseum.

So far this SEC season, not much makes sense.

The teams that were supposed to be on top are at the bottom and struggling. The teams supposed to bring up the rear are suddenly competing for the top spots.

With the exception of top-ranked Florida — the best team in the league, if not the country — SEC games are impossible to predict and looking ahead is a process of futility.
