LSU Wright State Game Up to the minute news about the LSU Tigers from GoTeamsGo. We'll find the latest LSU Tigers news so you can chat about here. Quote: Wright State will have hands full with LSU
Dayton Daily News (subscription), OH - 7 hours ago
BATON ROUGE, La. — Wright State's basketball players got their first look at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Tuesday afternoon, with the 1970s mushroom-shaped building's 13,472 deep purple seats surrounding them.
They arrived in town in the late morning, stopped at a fast-food restaurant, rested, then went through a two-hour practice to get ready for three games in three days at the Hispanic College Fund Classic at LSU.
Tonight, there will be more purple facing the Raiders, all draped over the 7-3 LSU Tigers, a Final Four participant last season. The guy wearing the most purple — if you go by size — is LSU's 6-foot-9, 289-pound junior forward, Glen Davis, nicknamed Big Baby.
Davis, a Baton Rouge native, leads the 17th-ranked Tigers with a 19.2 scoring average, and will have to be watched closely by the Raiders.
