| LaRon Landry honored BATON ROUGE -- LSU free safety LaRon Landry has earned a spot on college football's most prestigious All-America team as he was named second team All-America by the Walter Camp Foundation, the organization announced on Thursday. Landry, a senior from Ama, La., helped lead LSU to a 10-2 overall mark, a No. 4 national ranking and a berth in the Sugar Bowl against Notre Dame. The honor is the second for Landry this post-season as he, along with defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey, were named to the American Football Coaches Association All-America team last week. Landry has started all 12 games for the Tigers this year, leading the team with 68 tackles to go with 3.5 tackles for losses and a sack. Landry also intercepted two passes this year, including one in the fourth quarter in LSU's 31-26 win over Arkansas. Landry has also forced a fumble, blocked a kick and knocked down four passes for the Tigers in 2006.
