| Sugar Bowl: LSU vs. Notre Dame Well, the Tigers weren't sure exactly where they would be going with the USC loss yesterday, but now it's official - LSU will play the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the Sugar Bowl. How do you guys think you match up against the Irish, LSU fans?

This could turn out to be the best game of them all. If ND's receivers can hold on to the ball it will be a great game. Much more competitive than the farce being staged in Arizona. Both of these teams were capable of being national champs. I will be rooting for the Irish, but won't be surprised to see the Bayou Bengals come out on top. It will be the only BCS game I will watch. There has to be a better way!!!!!

Re: Sugar Bowl: LSU vs. Notre Dame LSU vs ND: As a ND fan I think that this will be a close game, but only if ND's receivers hold on to the ball. They struggled at USC. I have not had the oppotunity to see LSU play, but being from the SEC I'm sure they are deserving of their ranking. I think that ND is better than #11. Brady Quinn is a great QB and the LSU DBs will be busy. I can't wait. Earnit3

Re: Sugar Bowl: LSU vs. Notre Dame All you are hearing right now out of the national media, is how this game appears to be the most lob-sided BCS games. Look at any Bowl predictions from big name writers and they probably have the Irish losing by 10 or more points. I think this plays into Notre Dame's hands more than anything. Leading up to the BCS games, all you are going to hear is about the National Title game, and I think this game will be put on the back burner a little because a lot of people don't give ND a chance. With that being said, look out! When Notre Dame played as an underdog all of last season, it was the best thing for them. They played with nothing to loose. I think you will see the same in the Sugar Bowl. I think they feel going into this game a little like they did against Michigan and USC early on last year. No one seemed to give them much of a shot, and they came ready to play. Plus with the pressure off, look out for what Weis and Brady can do with 30 days of practice for this game alone, fear the Irish Jan 3.....

Re: Sugar Bowl: LSU vs. Notre Dame Good luck to LSU! I am a SEC loyalist and really hope LSU wins this one. I think they will win. Being from a strong Catholic background you have to pull for ND and any other game I would- but not tonight. Plus I don't ND is all that, Weiss really has something to prove. Go Tigers- See ya in T-Town when I will say Roll Tide!
