| LSU Rose Bowl bound?
Looks like Notre Dame won't get a second shot at Michigan or USC after all, as Sportsticker is reporting that the LSU Tigers will be invited to play either the Wolverines or the Trojans, whichever doesn't make the national title game.
According to what Sportsticker is saying, "Baton Rouge television station WAFB reported Thursday that fifth-ranked Louisiana State will play in the Rose Bowl on January 1... Citing information from a member of the Rose Bowl Board who spoke on the condition of anonymity, the CBS affiliate reports the Tigers will oppose either Michigan or Southern California in the game."
