LSU - Arkansas game

This one should be a real doozy. Both teams have a lot at stake here. Some pundits call LSU the best 2-loss team in the country. Certainly, the Tigers would like to keep that title by avoiding loss #3 and upsetting the Razorbacks. But can they go on the road and shut down Darren McFadden and a 10-win Arkansas team? What do you think?

Post SEC clash pits Tigers against Razorbacks

Here's another look at the upcoming LSU - Arkansas showdown.

Quote:
Seattle Post-Intelligencer: College Football
Little Rock, AR (Sports Network) - In what figures to be one of the weekend's most competitive games, the ninth-ranked LSU Tigers will battle the fifth- ranked Arkansas Razorbacks in a collision of SEC powerhouses... There is no question that LSU has the talent to knock off Arkansas this weekend. The edge has to go to the Razorbacks, however, as they have the obvious advantage of playing at home.
The Sports Network is predicting a 27-17 Razorbacks victory. What do you guys think of that predicition?

It's GameDay: LSU-Arkansas Meet, BCS Bowl on the Line

BATON ROUGE -- Arkansas may have clinched the Southeastern Conference's Western Division title last week, but that doesn't mean LSU goes into Friday's game against the No. 5 Razorbacks without anything to play for.

Re: LSU - Arkansas game

This article talks a little bit about "The Boot" and not knowing much about this rivalry myself, I decided to look it up and see what I could find. According to what I read, while the Tigers-Razorback series dates back to 1906, the Golden Boot was not introduced until 10 years ago. Is this true? What is the significance of the award?

Re: LSU - Arkansas game

Welcome to GoTeamsGo, razrbckred

LSU has been able to (mostly) shut down McFadded so far. Hopefully he'll get on track & keep Arkansas in the game.

The 2 turnovers so far have made a huge difference.

Re: LSU - Arkansas game

Impressive, impressive win by LSU, with JaMarcus Russell leading the way. Russell threw for 216 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and Trindon Holliday took a Razorbacks kickoff 92-yards for a score. After this showing, do you guys think the Tigers can make it to a BCS bowl game?
