| In the pros, time outs are taken away if a coach wants a play/call to be reviewed, correct? Seems like in the SEC/college football, a play is reviewed whenever and for whatever reason - for example, a ref forgot to take his/her adderall, so he wasn't paying attention... Like the pros, shouldn't the coaches have the option to request a review of a play? After all, there are 4 refs on the field... With that many on the field, and then the refs request a review - that doesn't show much confidence in their calls. I'd be inclined to question all other calls. Why is it that in the pros, the coaches call the reviews, but in college football, there is only a review if the refs want one? It's crap, and perhaps could be considered a form of cheating... The SEC refs throw enough flags anyway. Just cut the crap and let's play some football |

| Re: Reviews Welcome to GoTeamsGo, sonvolt12. I thought it was something like the coach can call a timeout to "encourage a review of a play. Look forward to chatting with you. Whats the latest on the game?

| Re: Reviews Welcome to GoTeamsGo, sonvolt, and thanks for joining us. If I understand it right, each coach does have 1 challenge either per half or for the whole game. But the on-field refs themselves do not call for a review; they are signaled from up in the replay booth if the replay official needs more time to go over a play. Every play is reviewed in between snaps, but if its a close call, that's when you get the stoppage of play.
