I'm sure this thread needs a fresh bump after todays EPIC most boneheaded last minute of a football game EVER.

Who Does Less Owe Money??????????? Or Should I Say Who Did He Owe Money????????

My first game back from Iraq was the lovely Tennessee game when I purchased a $250 ticket to sit in the last row on the newly renovated upper West section in Tiger Stadium. Les Miles blew a 21 point lead and getting the ball back at the half at night in Death Valley. At that point I knew that this guy did not belong at LSU.

Then, $aban signed at Alabama the day LSU played Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl. I told myself that "Les wasn't so bad." However, deep down inside I knew that he was still playing with $aban's players. I knew that I really didn't believe it!

The championship year...let's face it. We were lucky to get in. I do believe that we were the best team in the nation in '08, but we were fortunate to get there. The thing is...we didn't have to be so darn lucky!!!!! Les Miles lost to Kentucky (and electing to sit a hot Scott on the bench the second half) and Arkansas that year and beat Florida, Auburn, and Alabama!!

Sorry so long of a post, but I can't handle it anymore!! We pay this guy way too much.

All we need is someone that is disciplined and not afraid to open up the playbook. I would rather us hire a "no name" coach with a hell of a lot of discipline and that can get a freaking call off without a delay of game!!!!!

I have to agree that in the SEC and with his pay package one would have to question Les Miles ablility to coach in crunch situations. His failure to call a timout was inexcuseable.

Miles threw his quarterback under the bus saying he didn't know who told JJ to clock it when there is clear video footage showing Les yelling for him to clock it. The man should not be coaching anymore.

Depending upon what happens at Little Rock the day after Thanksgiving, the heat could really build for Les Miles. Arkansas, based on their current league record and their convincing win over Tennessee on Saturday, looks like the best team in the league. If the game were scheduled for Baton Rouge, no problem---LSU would probably find a way to win. Little Rock, the Hogs' home away from home, could turn out to be a very different deal. Les miles cannot hide his coaching deficiencies any longer now that all of Nick Saben's recruits have graduated. Last year and this year were a disappointment to say the least. They didnt win a single game against top 10. We Suck!!

Les is now on the hotseat, Tubberville,Fulmer,Croom,Kiffen, all are gone. Alabama has Nick [you can't beat him] Saban and he has the Tide looking like the storm of the century. Maybe Les should offer Mettenberg the QB job since he was dumped by Georgia. Nah... that would make too much sense. Will somebody explain to Les how a play clock works? It must truly be a horrible feeling as a LSU fan knowing you are paying this guy more than Saban and getting nothing in return. More over Alabama has Nick and another National Title.... and are poised to win another. Les has got to GEAUX!
