Kentucky @ LSU

Louisiana State pretty much laid an egg against Florida this past weekend, this the battle of top 10 teams turning into a big of a laugher. The Tigers turned the ball over five times and watched sensational freshman QB Tim Tebow throw a pair of touchdown passes against their once-vaunted defense. This week, they look to rebound at home against Kentucky. LSU is unbeaten at home in 2006, and there's no reason why that should change in this one, right?

Post Kentucky @ LSU - Sports Network preview

Here is a link to the Sports Network preview of this week's Kentucky - LSU game

Quote:
The Sports Network I-A College Football
LSU is the pick here, as it figures to take out some frustration on the Wildcats. Woodson has been stellar to date, but he will be pressured relentlessly by a swarming defense in a hostile atmosphere... Sports Network Predicted Outcome: LSU 34, Kentucky 10
Of course, the article goes into more detail than that, but the bottom line is that these guys expect LSU to win big. Do you agree?

Re: Kentucky @ LSU

LSU will win by a comfortable margin. Kentucky's defensive line, not especially good when they are healthy, is all banged up going into this game. Several of them will just see spot duty, if that. Kentucky's offense can be pretty good, but their defense is absolutely abysmal. The Bayou Bengals should win by about 38-14.

Re: Kentucky @ LSU

It's been brought up elsewhere, but - do you guys see LSU making the move to Flynn at QB any time soon?

Re: Kentucky @ LSU

There's no way to know for sure. Les Miles is an enigma. Russell has shown on two occasions now (Auburn and Florida) that he doesn't play well in big games, but I'm not sure Miles isn't rationalizing that away in some way. Flynn won a bowl game for LSU and did so with effectiveness and flair, but Miles seems to be in love with Russell for some inexplicable reason. If Russell falls on his face in one more big game, Miles will hearing the coyotes when he tries to sleep.

Re: Kentucky @ LSU

After watching Flynn lead the offense to that dominating win over Miami in last year's Peach Bowl, I thought Flynn would get to start over Russell. Russell is all about potential while Flynn gets results.
