Big showdown between SEC powers here - can LSU pull this one out?

This should be one of the very best SEC games of the season. LSU absolutely must win or they will be eliminated from the Western Division race, no matter how well they play thereafter. On the other hand, Florida will have no way of knowing how the Tennessee vs. Georgia game will come out. So, a loss by them could produce a three-way tie in the Eastern Division. I look for a very competitive, low-scoring game, featuring incredible line play.

I definitely agree about this being low scoring, chsbletz. Maybe even 6-3 or 9-6 in favor of one team or the other. I think LSU win this one, even though they're on the road. They seem like a more complete team to me. Their defense is a little better and I'm actually a little higher on Russell at QB than Leak. So I give the Tigers the nod, 9-6.

Lefty, 9-6 LSU could easily be the final outcome. This will be a real battle of the titans.

We will see more scoring than 9-6. If the Vols could put up 20 on the Gators, the Tigers should also be able too.

I agree there should be more scoring in this one...but I think Florida in a squeaker...23-21.
