| Re: Louisville eliminated I for one am opposed of a team playing four home games (or in-state games ;Raleigh, NC then Charlotte, NC) to get into the final four. How did the NCAA let that get set up? Advantage is supposed to go to the top seeds but how much advantage should there be? If Duke were the winner of the East; it still would have been the same thing. However, I was amazed at North Carolina’s speed in the Louisville game. It looked like it was going to be a blowout and then Rick Pitino brought strategy to tie the game at 59-59. Two good coaches and gifted players and you get a game like this. And of course, one you have one player who can dominate such as Carmelo Anthony did with Syracuse, it might be the edge North Carolina has with Tyler Hansbrough to win the Final Four. North Carolina definitely had the better team and could have won anyways but the fact is Tar Heels have never lost an NCAA game in Charlotte (9-0) and are undefeated at Bobcats Arena (8-0), winning five of those games this season, including three in ACC tournament). Louisville’s coach, players and fans who saw the game knew North Carolina was better team. I am proud of what Louisville accomplished this year.
