| Re: Louisville vs. Pitt ACC Tourney RD 2 It could be a very close game Cards face tourney nemesis NEW YORK -- The first two times the University of Louisville men's basketball team came to the Big East Conference Tournament, it was sent home by Pittsburgh. Will the third time be a charm or produce more harm? So despite earning only the No. 7 seed, Pitt looms as a darkhorse threat. The Panthers are as healthy now as they've been since registering the league's best nonconference victory, over Duke in overtime in December on this very floor. "They're a very dangerous opponent for anybody because they're strong in all phases of the game," Pitino said. http://www.courier-journal.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080313/SPORTS02/803130448/1028 |

I don't know what it is but they throw up bricks every time there. Pitt knew it too; they took away Louisville's inside game. Sr. guards help a lot this time of year also. Louisville doesn't have them. One guard is ok, the other guard is well...average. Ought to be a good tourny. |
