People talk about Duke and North Carolina being the duel to watch of the college elite, but Louisville and Georgetown have surfaced to their predicted top 10 teams status for the very last game of regular season and for Big East Conference championship.
There will be not better game to watch!
It was Senior Day for David Padgett, Juan Palacios and Terrance Farley and they did not disappoint.
In another team effort featuring balanced scoring and defense, the No. 13 Cardinals beat Villanova 68-54 this afternoon.
Padgett's number needs to be retired because of his love of the cards and how he pushed this team to be one of the best. I don't know of anyone who has every sacrificed so much for a team. Pitino has called him a coach/player on the floor. He is definitely Senior leadership which could take Louisville deep into the NCAA Tournament. |
