Padgett out possibly for the season

University of Louisville senior center David Padgett could be sidelined for the entire 2007-08 season after suffering a broken right kneecap in the Cardinals' 84-53 victory over Jackson State on Sunday, U of L's second game of the season.

This is a huge blow for U of L basketball. I for one was really looking forward to Padgett playing injury free this year to see what this young man could really do. Hopefully this will not be a devistating blow to the program and someone else will be able to step up and be the leader for Louisville. Only time will tell how this will affect the season. No matter what though, it should be an exciting year!!! Go Cards!!!
