I don't think anyone is out just yet. Yes, the team defensive dysfunction makes one wonder, but they may adjust and become better; it's still early in the season. I don't think they will be as good a defense as last year though. Seems as though Louisville needs a co-defensive coordinator system like last year. They don't have it because Kragthorpes right hand man on defense moved to Louisville and decided he wanted to be back where his family was more comfortable in Tulsa. Seems to me it is still going to be a player who dazzels us in the big game. That means Slaton and White, McFadden, Ray Rice are still in the mix. Whoever can make the highlight reals on the ESPN top 10 every week. Brohm will use any postive thought to motivate him for the next game, I'm sure. |

| Re: Brian Brohm Heisman Watch Hmm, I agree with the thinking that there aren't any real, exciting picks right now. I'm starting to get the feeling that it might be a dark horse, someone who wasn't on everyone's radar at the start of the season - someone who really knocks our socks off, coming out of left field.

| Re: Brian Brohm Heisman Watch Tidbits Brohm's 555 passing yards set a new Big East Conference record, breaking the mark of 504 set by Virginia Tech's Bryan Randall in 2002 against Syracuse. His 45 completions and 65 attempts were also conference records. Brohm has 8,448 career passing yards, which is only 1,117 fewer than Big East career leader Ken Dorsey of Miami. Brohm has 7,629 passing yards since the Cards entered the Big East. |

| Brohm: the team player My comments…….. Brohm’s heisman hopes may have disappeared but he would win as honorary team/community player. He came back to play this year to win a NC but also to help continue Louisville’s name as great place to play football. Reason Brohm’s passing numbers were lower this week (although not that bad)-the first time in eight games he hasn't topped the 300-yard mark
First Downs 26 Rush- yards 47-247 Passing- Att-Int 20-35-1 Possession time 38:18 (Louisville) 21:42 (NC State) Brohm’s comments after the NC State game: “It just feels good to win, no matter how you do it,” said Brohm, who has suffered losses in two of his three biggest passing games. “When you have adversity like this, there’s only two ways to go: crumble and fall apart and everyone blame each other, or you can become closer and tighter than you’ve ever been. And that’s what we chose to do.” |

| Re: Brian Brohm Heisman Watch With his 350 yards in yesterday's win against Cincinnati, U of L QB Brian Brohm moved into second place on the all-time passing yardage list in Big East history. A look at the top five: 1. Ken Dorsey, Miami 1999-02 9,565 2. Brian Brohm, U of L, 2004-07 8,697 3. Ryan Hart, Rutgers, 2002-05 8,482 4. Donovan McNabb, Syracuse, 1995-98 8,389 5. Tyler Palko, Pittsburgh, 2002-06 8,343 |
