| Cardinals vs. Syracuse Tough loss for the Louisville Cardinals on Saturday, falling to their in-state rivals from Kentucky. This Saturday, they get to take their frustrations and aggressions from that game out on the hapless Syracuse Orange. Louisville has the most potent offense in the Big East (55.0 ppg, 617 ypg) while 'Cuse has the worst scoring defense in the conference (allowing 39.3 ppg and 453.3 ypg). This one's going to get real ugly, real quick.

| Re: Cardinals vs. Syracuse Well, somebody got embarrassed big time today, but it wasn't Syracuse. The Cardinals lost 38-35. According to the Associated Press, "Louisville, which entered the game leading the country in yards per game, had little trouble moving the ball, but had several drives sputter in Syracuse territory and turned the ball over four times... The Cardinals committed 12 penalties for 105 yards, had punts of 11 and seven yards and were booed heavily by the sellout crowd, most of which headed for the exits with plenty of time left on the clock." As a Louisville fan, I have to wonder if we will win any more games the rest of the year; every game will be questionable seeing how badly prepared the team is to play. We are experiencing a complete collapse with exception of our offense. I maintained hope but there is definately a coaching problem which will have lasting effects if someone doesn't step down and resign immediately. As for Brian Brohm, the NFL draft can't get here quick enough at this point. |
