| Louisville vs. Kentucky Both teams have been waiting for this one, and guess what? Not only will this be a battle for in-state supremacy, but it's also a clash of two unbeaten teams. Conventional wisdom says that Brian Brohm and the Louisville offense should run wild over the Wildcats, especially considering that the AP described UK's defensive performance against Kent State last week as "shaky". But this is a rivalry game. Will conventional wisdom hold true?

| Re: Louisville vs. Kentucky This is an in-state rivalry and both teams are good. Forget the past games and throw them out the door this year. Game is played on Kentucky's home field and they despise Louisville. Should be a knock out drag out in my opinion. Hopefully the injuries won't happen or be minimal so both teams can play their conference schedule with all their weapons. I'm a big Louisville fan(lived there for 15yrs) and I hope the best for Kentucky except when they play Louisville. I've lived in several places so I have more than one team I like in college football. Louisville's team is my passion though. I am excited about the level of competition in the Big East. I don't see anyone running the table because the teams are so good. Injuries could be key as the season goes along. |

| Re: Louisville vs. Kentucky Rivals.com has a good write-up on this game, or more accurately, on the battle between the two quarterbacks: "Louisville quarterback Brian Brohm vs. Kentucky quarterback Andre' Woodson. The two insist they're not going head-to-head, but the Brohm-Woodson matchup will be an interesting subplot in the Bluegrass State rivalry. Both lead high-powered offenses against defenses that have struggled at times. Brohm and Woodson have combined for 7,848 yards and 61 touchdown passes since the start of the 2006 season." | Re: Louisville vs. Kentucky Give Kentucky credit and Kentucky's coach Brooks. They deserve some respect after making their way out of the probation Brook's inherited. Louisville is still a good team. There are still some tough games ahead. Brohm and Douglas were still worthy of praise as well as Anthony Allen. Two early turnovers by Louisville really hurt. |

| Re: Louisville vs. Kentucky big lost for the big east. Kentucky is a good team, tho i feel real bad for Brian Brohm. He came back after he lost his coach, and it just feels like he has no defense, and the offense he has is what he makes of it. I think he is a gret qb, and prob the overall number 1 pick to the falcons this year lol
