With all the hype surrounding the Louisville Cardinals offense, it's interesting to note that the defense has looked sharp this summer. In fact, according to the team's report of Thursday's practice, "The defense dominated the final two periods of team play. With the ball on their own two-yard line, Jon Russell sacked Brian Brohm in the end zone for a safety. On the next play, George Stripling was tackled for a safety with the second group." They also wound up getting a third safety later in the game. Watch out - this unit could surprise a lot of people in 2007!
