As the Louisville Cardinals braved 100-plus degree heats for two hours of full-pad practices yesterday, it appears as though there's one wideout's really starting to turn heads. According to the team's official website, "The offense won for the second straight day when Hunter Cantwell hit Patrick Carter with a third-down conversion pass. Carter seems ready to become the playmaker everyone thought he'd be. Over the last couple days, not by design, Carter has made a bunch of critical third-down receptions."
Carter's a 6-3, 215 pound senior who transferred in from Georgia Tech following the 2004 season. He's said to be one of the fastest players on the team. So what can we expect out of him, production wise, in 2007?
