| Louisville Cardinals NFL Draft Four University of Louisville football players were selected in the 2007 NFL Draft last weekend. Defensive tackle Amobi Okoye became the highest drafted player in school history when the 19-year old was selected 10th by the Houston Texans. Okoye, a first team All-BIG EAST selection, the 6-2, 305-pounder was fourth on the team in tackles with 55 and second on the squad with eight sacks. Running back Michael Bush was selected with the first pick in the fourth round and the 100th overall by the Oakland Raiders. Bush, who missed the season with a broken leg, played one half against Kentucky before getting injured. He recorded 128 yards and three touchdowns in that game. The native of Louisville ends his career with 2,514 yards and 39 rushing touchdowns. Running back Kolby Smith was a fifth-round selection and the 148th pick overall of the Kansas City Chiefs.
