According to the Associated Press, "Louisville quarterback Brian Brohm is expected to be available for spring practice following surgery on his non-throwing shoulder." The surgery is being classfied as minor, but I think I understand why he decided to return to school instead of entering the NFL Draft. Hopefully the kid heals and is good to go for the start of next season.

I definitely think this had something to do with him returning to school. If he gets the surgery and goes Pro, he's almost certain not to be a 1st round pick. Now he can get the surgery, return to Louisville and show the world he's healthy and still effective. Next season, he'll be one of the top picks if he does well.
