Quarterback Brian Brohm will return for his senior season at the University of Louisville, the Louisville native announced at a Monday morning press conference at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

What a shock - once Petrino was gone, I fully expected Brohm to go pro as well. But I guess since big brother was retained on the coaching staff, he's got enough incentive to stick around. With Brohm, Louisville should certainly be in the mix atop the Big East again next season, don't you think?

I think the kid is crazy. If he came out this year, he'd almost be guaranteed to be a nice first round pick. Even with the insurance he'll probably get by returning to school, he's risking not picking up a new system as a senior.

Then again, if the new coaching staff is any good, they should do well with the talent they have there.

I agree with Empire. You can't guarantee that this team will even be a top 25 team next year. I understand that Kraggthorpe is a great coach and he has done a good job at Tulsa, but this is a new coach that will be bringing in a new system with a senior quarterback.
