The Louisville Cardinals have lost their head football coach to the NFL. Bobby Petrino has reportedly taken the Atlanta Falcons job. What kind of effect will this have on the Cardinals program?

Will Michael Bush and Brian Brohm declare for the NFL Draft because of this? The Cardinas were expected to be a contender for the BCS Title next year, how does this change?

Any thoughts on who they may get to replace him?

Yes, they will declare. I'd bet my laptop on it.

I think it stinks that Petrino's bailing, especially after he just signed a new 10-year deal to stay in Louisville. Not sure yet who might replace him (will they promote from within, or is Petrino taking his assistants to Atlanta?) or how this will impact the program. But I'd guess it won't be in a positive way.
