Louisville UConn Game

Louisville can still win the Big East and earn a BCS bid, but first they need to beat 4-7 Connecticut on Saturday. Can they get the job done?

Re: Petrino Previews Saturday's Regular-Season Finale with UConn

Last I saw, Louisville was ahead but not dominating. The Huskies totally got robbed on an early call - a punt return that was a fumble, but was ruled a muff. Because of that, a fumble return for a TD got taken off the board, and the UConn offense was unable to score on that drive.

No. 6 Cardinals Dominate Huskies, 48-17

Louisville didn't waste its last chance to impress the powers that be in the Bowl Championship Series. Brian Brohm threw for 341 yards and four touchdowns and the sixth-ranked Cardinals (11-1, 6-1) clinched at least a share of the Big East championship with a 48-17 win over Connecticut on Saturday.

Well, the Cards did their part. Now they need a WVU win to clinch the Big East.
