In yesterday's win over Miami, Louisville Cardinals QB Brian Brohm dislocated the thumb on his right (throwing) hand. He will miss up to six weeks with the injury. This definitely hurts the Cardinals, who are already without RB Michael Bush. No team can lose two Heisman contenders and still hope to be competitive against a quality team, right? Louisville fans better hope that Brohm hurries back and that the schedule is kind to them these next few weeks.

Obviously if it was on his non-throwing hand, he'd play through it but this is a HUGEEE loss for the Cards. Now the Big East should be wide open for the Mountaineers to take.
