he broke his leg early in the third quarter and is been declared lost for the season. he had 3 tds and well over 100+ rushing yards in a little over a half, do they have any chance to beat miami or wvu this year. There two back ups combined for 1100 yards right around wat bush put up but theres no way they can make up fro everythign bush can do

Wow, what a tough break for Bush and the Cards (no pun intended). He was talked about being one of the best backs in the nation and now this. Hopefully he can get healthy once everything heals and he'll be back better than ever next season.

Perhaps the two back-ups take the team on their shoulders (although Brohm is still the guy), but we won't know until gametime.

i think he is a senior, i belive he would be eligable for a medical redshirt tho

Coach Petrino said he was going to let Bush and his family decide whether or not to apply for the redshirt, so that's something we'll have to keep an eye on. But man, what a horrible way to possibly end your college career - breaking your leg in the first game of a season in which you're a Heisman Trophy candidate. My heart really goes out to this kid.
