| Artest to the Lakers Ron Artest is joining Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers. ESPN.com reported that Artest had agreed to a three-year deal worth $18 million. David Bauman, Artest's agent, would not confirm those numbers, saying the deal was still being negotiated.      |

| Re: Artest to the Lakers this is a little scary Ron is one hell of a defender and Kobe is still hungry ..... they will be very tough to beat for a couple years if they stay healthy |
