Nuggets end Laker's dominance, 106-103

The Laker's 24 year of playoff dominance against the Denver Nuggets came to an end last night over the final 29 seconds as the Nuggets defeated the Lakers 106-103.
Carmelo Anthony had 34 points and 14 rebounds, Billups had 27 points and 16 rebounds and Linas Kleiza added 16 points for the Nuggets. Nene finished with six points, nine rebounds and six assists.
Kobe Bryant had 32 points, including making all 10 of his free throws, Trevor Ariza scored a career playoff-high 20 points and Pau Gasol 17 points and 17 rebounds for the Lakers
Lakers opened with a 14 point lead and thats all Denver needed to get the fire going.
Nuggets recovered from their poor free throw shooting and made 17 consecutive shots until Billups missed 1 in the final seconds. He made the second to secure the win.

Re: Nuggets end Laker's dominance, 106-103

What happened, why doesn't Kobe have the ball at the end of the game? Better question why does Derek Fisher have the ball at the end. If you don't want to give Kobe the ball because they'll foul him then you give to Walton or Vuajic, their job is to shoot three what's the point of having them if they don't use them.

Even if he thought they would foul Kobe they could still make it work.

Option 1) Throw it up with no inention of making the shot just getting in the motion so it'd be foul in the act of shooting. Therefore three FTs that Kobe would make. Rafer Alston tried in the Magic-Cavs series when the Cavs had a foul to give before the half.

Option 2) Expect the fact that will get fouled let him make the first FTs and then miss the second one on purpose and let Gasol and Odom get the ball they were dominating the boards. Terrible

(In reponse to Bette's go Nuggets)
Go Lakers!

and just for the hell of it

Go Magic!

You know bears, I am cheering for the underdog in Cavs and Magic. If the Cavs and Lakers come face to face, then it will be the Cavs.
Did you see Howard pull down the shot clock the other night? He says he will do it on the other end when they need a rest.
Game's on now. Gotta get my munchies.
