I don't want to make it sound like I think Jackson is a BAD coach, but it wasn't much of a stretch to win the titles he did. He won with MJ and as soon as he retired he left for LA and won again with Shaq and Kobe. I know Red had good players too, but if I am not mistaken he built his team.
