Lakers lose, Suns stay alive

Boris Diaw had 25 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists. Nash had 22 and Marion added 21. Kobe gets tossed with about 3 minutes left to play, and Phoenix rolls to a 114-97 win.

And what does Phil Jackson blame the loss on? Diaw's solid performance? The Lakers not playing up to the Suns level? The physicality of the series? Nope... Kwame Brown's legal troubles. "I think the only thing it did was take our mind off the game," Ol' Zenny told reporters after the game. Hey, earth to Phil -- its YOUR job to make sure that doesn't happen!

Re: Lakers lose, Suns stay alive

You conveniently forgot too mention that Raja Bell was also tossed for Cloeslining Kobe Bryant with around six minutes left. Outside of the crotch grab from Reggie Evans, this was clearly the dirtiest play in a playoff round with an abnormal surplus of questionable behavior. He will be suspended for game six, and justifiably so.

Kobe is just as guilty for two technicals. Both teams lost something on the court last night...FACE...gosh how does all that stuff happen? Are these guys professionals. Check this out.

Cool Re: Lakers lose, Suns stay alive

If the Lakers win this series, maybe we'll be able to settle the Kobe vs. Brand MVP debate.

Re: Lakers lose, Suns stay alive

I love the intensity in the playoffs, but I dont get why guys like Bell and Bryant have to get dirty...
