| Kobe apologizes Kobe Bryant said yesterday that he apologized to Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak for the way he handled his on-again, off-again trade request. "I just felt like as a man, it was important for me to tell him, `I'm sorry it came out that way,"' Bryant is quoted as saying in a recent AP article. "I was frustrated, I was venting." However, he would not say whether or not he still wanted to be dealt. Does it matter at this point?
