| Lakers F Luke Walton Forward Luke Walton entered the season expecting to play a backup role to the newly acquired Vladimir Radmanovic, but it quickly became apparent that his work in the off-season had turned him into a starter. After starting only 13 games in his 3-year career, Luke started all 60 contests he appeared in this season. Luke settled in as the third scoring option, behind Kobe Bryant & Lamar Odom, and was especially potent from three point range early in the season. Walton posted career highs across the board, most notably in Points (11.4), Assists (4.3), & Rebounds (5.0) (due to his increased minutes), but also in Field Goal Percentage (47.4%) and Three Point Percentage (38.7%). A ankle injury sidelined Walton for 22 games and limited his leaping ability when he returned, but Luke was still a vital part of making the triangle work in the last month and a half of the season. 2007 OFF-SEASON CENTRAL: Luke Walton |

| Re: Lakers F Luke Walton I must admit, he is getting better. Walton will probably never be as good as his old man, but he's finally averaging over 10.0 points and 5.0 boards per game. That's a start. What's still missing from his game, though? How can he improve further?
