Jordan Farmar came in and assumed an immediate roll as the backup point guard for the Lakers behind incumbent Smush Parker... Farmar played strong on both ends of the floor before hitting the rookie wall just after his appearance in the Rookie/Sophmore game at All-Star weekend. His decreased playing time eventually led him to double duty by playing on both the LA D-Fenders and the Lakers in the same day. The increased minutes helped put Farmar back on the right track and he ended up starting the final two regular season games as well as all five playoff games.
