Lakers eliminated

Amare Stoudemire scored 27 points and Shawn Marion added 26, and the Suns overcame an inspired performance by Lamar Odom and a late scoring binge by Kobe Bryant to beat the Lakers 119-110 on Wednesday night.

Re: Lakers eliminated

"The Lakers were eliminated in the first round for the second straight year and haven't won a playoff series since 2004, when Shaquille O'Neal left Los Angeles," according to this article. Bryant wants changes made, and the rumors out there that Odom is on the trading block once again, and that still doesn't make any sense to be. What they need is a dominant big man to replace Shaq, don't you think?

Kobe is the big mouth who said he could win the whole thing without Shaq. I've been saying this for a long time and I still believe it. If I am picking a player to play 1 on 1 in the playground, I would probably pick Kobe. But I might pick at least 5, maybe 10 players before him if I were trying to win a title.
