Kobe credits Odom, Walton for recent success Kobe Bryant credits the return of teammates Lamar Odom and Luke Walton from injuries for making things easy for him. The All-Star MVP became the first Los Angeles player in 44 seasons to score at least 50 points in consecutive games, following a 65-point effort with 50 in the Lakers' 109-102 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday night. Bryant became the first Lakers player to accomplish the feat since Elgin Baylor did it in three straight games in December 1962. "Luke and Lamar both make my life a lot easier when they're out there because they're so good at recognizing situations on the floor,'' Bryant said. "They're great passers, so teams can't just front me or overplay me in certain areas.'' Bryant Credits Teammates for Recent Scoring Spree Last edited by Lefty Noob : 03-21-2007 at 07:28 AM.

Re: Kobe credits Odom, Walton for recent success He's also glad that they haven't complained of his ball-hog style on the court and of those "I Serve Master Kobe" T-Shirts he gave out in the locker-room.

Re: Kobe credits Odom, Walton for recent success Let's face it, if he dosen't dominate, they don't go anywhere. Walton is getting better; I thought he would have been a better pro than he has been so far but he still is young. Last edited by legend : 03-22-2007 at 06:45 AM. Reason: typo

Re: Kobe credits Odom, Walton for recent success Hey, if they hadn't choked it last year they had Phoenix beat in the playoffs. It's not like we are talking about the 86 Celtics or the Jordan Bulls nowadays.

Re: Kobe credits Odom, Walton for recent success 60 more for the NBA's best player on Thursday night. But even with that, he would have to do that about 30 more times to equal the number of 60 and over games that Wilt had.
