L.A. seeking another Guard

Word is that the Lakers are looking for backcourt help, and are looking at the possibility of signing Penny Hardaway, Tony Delk, Jim Jackson or Rick Brunson. Think they'll ink one of them, and if so, which one should they go after?

Re: L.A. seeking another Guard

Well...I am not so sure that any of them will do much good. None of those guys are top notch guards, and I dont know how much help they could offer. If it was up to me I would pick up Hardaway, but that is based solely on personal preference.

Tony Delk

I've loved Delk ever since i saw him engineer the 25-point fourth-quarter Celtic comeback in game six against the Nets a couple of years back. Phil just might be able to teach him the triangle and mold him into a quasi-Harper figure. Someone needs to set up the offense more properly.

Cheers.

Wait a minute, how did Rafe LaFrentz enter this discussion? I might take him over Chris Mihm...

Re: Rafe LaFrentz? Huh?

I hear that they're going to cut Medvedenko and sign Penny. In fact, I haven't checked the headlines yet this morning - it may already be a done deal. Right choice?

Well, turns out the rumor was half right - they cut Medvendenko, but singed Jim Jackson instead of Penny Hardaway. Was THAT the right choice?

Whoa...

Again, channeling Keanu: "Whoa."

Shame about Slava. Kobe and he ran some really amazing plays on good nights.

Jackson, eh...?

This bears checking.

Arnold: "I'll be back."

Cheers.
