Just wondering... does anyone know the most amount of games that an NBA team has scored over 100 points in, but still lost?

The Lakers already have 7 this season. Have to say, it's pretty sad when you score over 100 points and still manage to lose. Or, am I just not up-to-date with today's NBA?

That wouldnt even be remotely close to the record. I believe that would belong to the run and gun Nuggets in 90-91. That year they averaged 101.7 ppg. They finished 20-62 and scored 100+ in 79 of the 82 games. You do the math.
