| following suit The Lakers for some reason have made bad move after bad move this season. I agree it would be a bad mood to trade the guy but it would follow suit. It would be a very typical bad management decision made by Kobe. |

| Trade of the Century Falls Through! Lefty and everyone, I realize i'm late to comment on this, but i am flabbergasted. Let me get this straight. The Knicks could have traded a member of the rookie all-stars with, as Hubie B. and the boys like to say, "tremendous upside potential" carrying a mere $4.487 million dollar contract over the next two years with team's options for the following two. The only thing the Knicks would receive in turn is Odom, a forward who would have clashed horribly with, say Malik Rose, Maurice Taylor and half the Knicks roster, really. The Lakers could have traded Lamar Odom, an all-star caliber player who, even while the Kobe-Kobe-Kobe show runs, is still a threat for the near-triple double (can we make this a stat?) every night. The always criminally underrated Odom may be in his prime right now, but it's so hard to tell. Odom's contract is valued at 23.954 plus upward of 29 million guaranteed in the two years after that. In the words of Keanu, "Whoa." I ask you: How in Naismith's name do Kupchak and Isiah not make this trade? Cheers.

| Re: More Odom Trade Rumors The Lakers personell moves have been questionable since the day Jerry West chose to leave and make the decisions for Memphis. Mitch Kupchak has not filled the vacancy left by West very well and as a long time Laker fan I fear for the future of the franchise with him running the show. But, it could be worse, at least we don't have Isaiah Thomas running things. |

| Re: More Odom Trade Rumors Well it won't be Chris Mihm getting traded anytime soon. Not with his ankle surgery. Looks like most of the comments there are to keep him. What do you guys say? Trade Chris Mihm?

| Re: More Odom Trade Rumors Nah, I'd keep him. Yes, the Lakers need a better supporting cast around Kobe, but its not like they should be dumping guys like Odom and Mihm. I think both will contribute nicely during the 2006-07 season. |

| Re: More Odom Trade Rumors Trading lamar Odom would be foolish. He is their second best player and puts up good all around numbers despite playing with Kobe. Problem is he is the only player on their team that has any trade value besides King Kobe. The lakers are going to be a mediocre team for the next few years. Kobe is going to sit there and have to watch Shaq and Miami win their second Championship in a row this year. Too bad Laker Fans. |

| Re: More Odom Trade Rumors Welcome aboard, Doctor Know, and thanks for joining us here at GoTeamsGo. I think most of us agree that L.A. needs to hang onto Odom to be successful. Whether or not its a good idea, though, do you think the Lakers will wind up dealing Odom? |
