Don't fear for Manny's welfare. Scott Boras will, sooner rather than later, convince someone that Ramirez's hitting prowess more than atones for his bouts of foolishness, even his sometimes nasty petulance.

Where?...Counting his millions...though less of them...free agency is not what it has been in the past...the economy is taking care of that...except if you are a Yankee I guess...

The Dodgers, Mattingly is telling everyone how much he loved working with Manny, the Dodgers are the only team willing to pay him about 2-years, 45 million, so Manny will be a Dodgers, unless the Yankees or Giants do something crazy

$45 Million for 2 years to a 36 year old moody player. I'm sorry but even Manny isn't worth that much. Far from it.

An offer of $25 would be sufficient. He is good with a bat, most of the time, but isn't anywhere near exceptional in the field.

Where did you read $45 Million ?

Like ESPN and MLB.com and all those places, that was Dodgers first offer, with a 3rd year option, that was their first offer and Manny shot it down because he thought he could more else where, that is what Manny is going to get 2 years, 45 million.

But quick there are two teams that I don't why they aren't doing anything for Manny and those are the Angels and Mets

I think he will be back in L.A. with some bad 1-year contract. Until next season where he tries to sign a big boy.

I'm still peeved that the Dodgers didn't pursue Texiera....who would have been a long term solution for hitting.....rather than renting Manny for a short stint.

Further proof the McCourts are in over their heads as an owner in a large market.
