Carlos Lee trade rumors

The Los Angeles Dodgers are very, very close to pulling off a deal for outfielder Carlos Lee of the Milwaukee Brewers. Lee is an amazing talent, and the Dodgers have a loaded farm system, so the package is probably an attractive one. However, the holdup is Brewers GM Doug Melvin, who seem hesitant to give up on this season as well as the likelihood that the team could re-sign Lee after the season. Will this trade happen?

Re: Carlos Lee trade rumors

Carlos Lee will definitely help boost the Dodgers' run and win production. He is pure power this year.

Unfortunately, he will become a free-agent at the end of the season. Unless the Dodgers talk contract negociations, it would seem like a pointless deal at this time in the season.

I think his homer out put will be down in Dodger town...its not the most homer freindly park.
