As does Ramirez, who soon appeared in mirrored shades with a full mane of dreads. "Boston is in the past," he declared in his pidgin patois. "I'm thinking blue right now."

Actually, I thought, he'd prefer Dodger green. Ramirez had finally and permanently fallen out of favor in Boston, shoving a traveling secretary and suffering a knee injury that miraculously healed as soon as the Red Sox renounced their option and traded him to L.A.

Why reward his antics? He should be kept out of the Hall of Fame on the first ballot for throwing games like he did in Boston . Or worse. I only pray Beckett gets a chance to anil him in the World Series.

The man can play, and I give him his due.

If there is action to be taken about some of his antics, that is for the teams he has played for to do.

I think his play on the field speaks for itself, and I wouldn't complain too loud if he got it.

Individual awards aren't that big a deal to me anyway.

The Phils have the last two MVP's, and that has gotten them nothing!

Manny can have it! I want a title for my team!

Howard would be the only one, but the strikeouts and avg hurt him.

Still, 47 homers and 142 RBI's are strong numbers, we'll see.

I would rather have a nice playoff run.

This team got the MVP two years in a row, but that doesn't get ya any titles!
