Jeff Kent: Hall of Fame material?

Just read the following over at Yahoo! Sports:

"2B Jeff Kent went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a run scored and two RBIs. He now has 1,492 career RBIs, leaving him one shy of Dave Parker for 48th place on the all-time list. Kent now has 548 career doubles, 12 shy of Eddie Murray for 20th all-time."

So based on his career numbers and his place on those all time lists, do you think he has a valid Hall of Fame resume?

Re: Jeff Kent: Hall of Fame material?

Kent has 8 seasons of at least 100 RBI, and didn't have his first one until he was 29 years old. He was the 2000 MVP but has never led a league in a major offensive category. But being a second baseman will help him greatly, so I think he eventually gets in.
