Peter Abraham is reporting the Dodgers have decided to fire Grady Little as manager this evening.

Sounds like the clubhouse wasn't too happy a place to be with the Dodgers in 2007. So the Little era is ending within the next 24 hours.

Update: The story is the Dodgers have decided to go after Joe Torre. They are in negotiations at this hour. They haven't officially fired Little yet but he would be as soon as Torre is hired.

It's funny - statistically, Little has a better winning percentage than Torre, .552 to .539. He's never had a losing season, yet he's had two jobs and never lasted more than two seasons at either. I could be wrong, but I seriously doubt that he's done managing yet. Think he gets hired this year by anyone, or does he sit out a season or two first?

LA will hold a conference call in about a half hour where they will announce Grady Little will not return in 2008.

He's goanna sit out much more than a season or 2. Nobody's going to hire him. I wouldn't want him to manage my team. I'd go to a guy Tony Pena or Larry Bowa way before him.
