Dodgers want Torii Hunter

According to the Yahoo! Sports rumor page, "The Los Angeles Dodgers would like to add a power hitter to their lineup in 2008, but are unlikely to go after Alex Rodriguez... That could mean that free agent Torii Hunter will be the top candidate on their wish list." Would Hunter be a good fit for the Dodgers?

Hunter would be a fine fit pretty much anywhere. That would be a nice line-up with guys like Hunter, Kent, Loney, Kemp, Ethier, and maybe Nomar.

Could the Dodgers be getting the same thing the Reds got with Griffey Jr. A CF that played on turf so long that his body is breaking down. He is a 10 year vet that has played hard in Minnesota the whole time. He is 30 something. The Twins may be better off getting rid of him.
