Yesterday, Dodgers pitcher Derek Lowe won his first game since June 22, tossing seven shutout innings in a 6-2 L.A. win over the Houston Astros. "That's a long time not to win," Lowe, who had been 0-5 in his last eight starts, told the Associated Press afterwards. "You've got to go out there and believe you can win. The early runs were key for me." So was this just a slump, or is the 34-year-old hurler running out of gas?
