I've been hearing rumblings that the Dodgers are looking to replace Nomar Garciaparra, who is hitting .281 with just one home run and 38 RBI this season. Could Nomar be on his way out of L.A. and if so, who do the Dodgers get to replace him?

Back to L.A., the word is they're real uphappy, especially with his (lack of) power numbers.

Can't remember who I heard they were after, but I guess the talk about replacing him is fairly serious.

Nope. I remember the clamor when Boston talked of trading him. You'd a thunk it was the end of the world. Granted he has/had a great personality but the numbers just weren't there and the DL time was on th eincrease.

Yep - Nomar to the Cubbies for Orlando Cabrera, Dave Roberts and Doug Mientkiewicz. That did work out pretty well for you guys, didn't it.

Yeah, they're gone now, but there's no denying the contributions those has had towards that Series win.

No arguement. Cabrera was a good bat even though he was somewhat error ridden in the field and Mentkiewicz was always a great clutch hitter. They were a definite asset. Nomar was good in his early years but faded later.

Maybe to much ham ??

Nomar continues to struggle.
