that has nothing to do with racism ........ i heard Jeter say today basically it's much easier to play in the pro's in football and basketball ...... just meaning you play right after college and dont go to the minors like in baseball

more managers i can agree with .......... even though wouldnt it make sense if the player to manager ratio equals ? ......... 8% players and 2 managers for 30 teams must be about 8%

Well, I think the issue at its core is whether or not youth leagues are charging too much for inner-city kids to play. If they don't play and find a love for the game at a young age, they'll likely never get it. Not sure if that's really the problem or not, but from the way they framed the discussion, I believe that's what Rachel Robinson, Hank Aaron, et. al. believes.

i think it's free around here ........ the cities cant have free parks ? coaches and businesses cant donate time and equipment ? i would imagine equipment for a little league team cant be more then $500 whats the problem ?
